This role will involve providing specialized dental care to young patients, focusing on the unique dental needs of children and adolescents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with kids and a commitment to fostering a positive dental experience. As a Consultant in Pediatric Dentistry, you will diagnose and treat various dental conditions while also emphasizing preventive care and education. Your ability to connect with children and their families will be instrumental in promoting good oral hygiene practices and addressing any concerns they may have about dental procedures. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments of pediatric patients Diagnose dental problems and develop tailored treatment plans Perform preventive and restorative procedures, including cleanings, fillings, and extractions Educate children and parents on oral health best practices Utilize effective behavior management strategies to ensure a pleasant experience Maintain comprehensive patient records and documentation Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care Stay updated on the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from an accredited institution Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Dentistry Current state dental license Prior experience in a pediatric dental setting is an advantage Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with children and their families Empathic personality with a patient-centered approach Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Commitment to continuing education and professional growth in pediatric dentistry Salary + Additional Benefits
