Role Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant Pediatric Emergency Medicine Specialist to join a leading tertiary-care hospital in Saudi Arabia. The role involves providing advanced pediatric emergency care, overseeing acute medical and trauma cases, and contributing to clinical governance and quality initiatives. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-standard emergency care to pediatric patients, from neonates to adolescents Manage medical and surgical emergencies, including trauma, infectious disease, and respiratory distress Lead multidisciplinary resuscitation teams and support complex triage cases Mentor junior physicians and allied health professionals in emergency protocols Collaborate with pediatric ICU, surgical specialties, and laboratory teams for comprehensive care Contribute to training programs, audits, and research where applicable Ensure compliance with MOH and JCIA standards in clinical documentation and procedures Qualifications & Requirements Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent), with completion of pediatric and emergency training Board Certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent) Minimum 5 years of post-specialty clinical experience, preferably in tertiary hospitals Valid professional licensure or eligibility for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Consultant classification Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous Preferred Attributes Demonstrated leadership in high-pressure, fast-paced environments Proven record of innovation in pediatric emergency care models or trauma systems Culturally competent and family-centered approach to care Familiarity with EMR systems and international hospital standards Specific Locations: Taif Jeddah Salary: 60000 - 70000 SAR Per month
