Position Summary A leading tertiary-care hospital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist to join its advanced pediatric cardiac program. The role involves delivering high‑level interventional cardiac care to neonates, infants, children, and adolescents with congenital and acquired heart diseases, while contributing to clinical excellence, research, and education. Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties Perform a full spectrum of pediatric cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, including: ASD/VSD/PDA device closures Balloon valvuloplasty Angioplasty and stenting Complex congenital interventions Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for pediatric cardiac patients. Interpret echocardiography, ECG, Holter, CT/MRI cardiac imaging (as applicable). Participate in multidisciplinary cardiac conferences and surgical planning. Provide on‑call coverage for pediatric cardiac emergencies. Leadership & Teamwork Collaborate with pediatric cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, intensivists, neonatologists, and allied health professionals. Contribute to departmental quality improvement, clinical governance, and protocol development. Mentor junior physicians, fellows, and clinical staff. Academic & Research Contributions Engage in clinical research, audits, and academic presentations. Participate in teaching activities for medical students, residents, and fellows. Support community and hospital-based pediatric cardiac awareness initiatives. Qualifications & Requirements Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) from a recognized institution. Board Certification in Pediatric Cardiology (e.g., American Board, Royal College, Arab Board, or equivalent). Fellowship training in Interventional Pediatric Cardiology from a recognized center. Minimum 5–10 years post-fellowship experience in a high-volume pediatric cardiac center. Eligibility for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Consultant classification. Strong procedural portfolio with documented interventional experience. Excellent communication, leadership, and patient‑centered care skills. Fluency in English; Arabic is beneficial but not required Salary: 70000 - 80000 SAR Per month
