Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Consultant Pediatric Oncologist with expertise in Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT) to join a leading tertiary care hospital in Abu Dhabi. The role involves diagnosing and managing pediatric cancers and hematologic disorders, with a focus on BMT procedures, while contributing to clinical excellence, research, and education. Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and treat pediatric oncology and hematology conditions, including leukemia, lymphoma, and solid tumorsPerform and oversee autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplantsLead multidisciplinary case reviews and develop individualized treatment plansSupervise junior physicians and fellows in pediatric oncology and BMT protocolsEnsure compliance with international standards of care and hospital policiesParticipate in clinical trials, research initiatives, and CME activitiesProvide education and counseling to patients and families regarding treatment options and post-transplant careMaintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and treatment plansParticipate in on-call rotations and emergency coverage as required Qualifications & RequirementsMedical Degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institutionBoard Certification in Pediatric Hematology/OncologyFellowship training in Pediatric BMT is mandatoryMinimum 5 years of post-fellowship experience in pediatric oncology and BMTEligibility for DOH/HAAD licensure in the UAEWestern-trained candidates preferred (US, UK, Canada, Australia, etc.)Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsCommitment to excellence in patient care and clinical outcomes BenefitsCompetitive salary (AED 80,000–90,000/month depending on experience)Family visa sponsorship and relocation supportComprehensive medical insurance and annual leaveEnd-of-service benefits as per UAE Labour LawOpportunities for academic involvement and career advancement
