Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Ophthalmologist to join a leading eye care team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and managing a full spectrum of pediatric eye conditions, with a strong commitment to child-centered care and surgical excellence. 🔍 Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and treat pediatric eye disorders including strabismus, amblyopia, congenital cataracts, and refractive errors.Perform pediatric ophthalmic surgeries and laser procedures as needed.Conduct comprehensive eye exams tailored to infants, children, and adolescents.Collaborate with orthoptists, pediatricians, and other specialists for multidisciplinary care.Educate families on treatment plans and long-term visual development.Participate in clinical audits, CME activities, and quality improvement initiatives.🎓 Qualifications & ExperienceMedical degree with specialization in OphthalmologyFellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology (preferred)Minimum 3–5 years post-specialization experience in pediatric eye careDHA eligibility or licensure preferredArabic-speaking preferred, but open to strong profiles regardless of gender or language🌟 Desirable AttributesSkilled in pediatric surgical techniques and child-friendly communicationExperience with pediatric visual screening programs and school outreachStrong teamwork and patient education skillsCommitment to continuous learning and clinical excellence

Responsibilities

The Pediatric Ophthalmologist will diagnose and treat a range of pediatric eye disorders and perform necessary surgeries. They will also collaborate with other specialists and educate families on treatment plans.
