JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Pediatric Pulmonologist to join a prestigious medical institution in Dubai. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and treating respiratory disorders in children, ranging from common conditions to complex pulmonary diseases. This role demands a compassionate and detail-oriented professional dedicated to improving the respiratory health and quality of life of pediatric patients through expert clinical care and collaborative teamwork.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution
  • Board certification in Pediatric Pulmonology (American Board Certification is preferred)
  • Must be Western-trained, with experience in leading healthcare environments
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a consultant pediatric pulmonologist
  • Expertise in managing complex respiratory conditions in children
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a family-centered approach to care
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and delivering outstanding pediatric care
  • Must be Western-trained
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage pediatric respiratory conditions, including asthma, chronic cough, cystic fibrosis, and sleep-related breathing disorders
  • Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as bronchoscopy and pulmonary function testing
  • Develop personalized treatment plans to optimize respiratory health and manage chronic pulmonary conditions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatric allergists, intensivists, and other specialists, to ensure integrated care
  • Provide education and guidance to families on preventative measures, treatment plans, and long-term care strategies
  • Stay updated on advancements in pediatric pulmonology and implement evidence-based practices
  • Ensure compliance with UAE medical regulations and uphold international standards of patient care
