This unique position offers the opportunity to work across both sectors, delivering expert surgical care to pediatric patients and contributing to the advancement of pediatric surgical services. As a Consultant Pediatric Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and performing a wide range of surgical procedures tailored to infants, children, and adolescents. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in both government and private settings to ensure comprehensive, high-quality care, and contribute to clinical governance and educational activities. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed assessments and evaluations of pediatric patients requiring surgical care. Develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans using the latest techniques. Conduct elective and emergency pediatric surgical procedures in both government and private healthcare facilities. Provide comprehensive perioperative management, including preoperative preparation and postoperative care. Collaborate closely with pediatricians, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care. Participate in clinical training, research, and quality improvement programs. Contribute to the development and adherence to clinical protocols and standards. Qualifications and Requirements: Relevant experience working in both government and private healthcare settings is preferred.
