As a Consultant Pediatrician, you will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to children in the UAE. You will work with a diverse patient population, utilizing your expertise and experience to provide comprehensive medical care and treatment. With a focus on improving the health and well-being of young patients, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of pediatric conditions and illnesses. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough consultations and physical examinations of pediatric patients- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in children- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with parents and caregivers- Prescribe medication and provide follow-up care as needed- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans- Perform procedures such as minor surgeries, immunizations, and vaccinations- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide multidisciplinary care to patients- Educate parents and caregivers on disease prevention, health promotion, and proper childcare techniques- Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records- Participate in continuous education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills Qualifications and Experience: - CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in Paediatrics from the UK- Minimum of 5-7 years post-CCT experience in a reputable hospital or healthcare institution- Valid DHA license or eligibility to obtain a license- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills preferred- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and child-friendly care- Proficient in medical software and technology- Western education/training required.
