We are seeking a skilled Consultant Periodontist to join our hospitals in Qatar. The Consultant Periodontist will provide advanced periodontal care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of periodontal diseases and conditions affecting the supporting structures of teeth. This role involves delivering high-quality patient-centered care while collaborating with other dental and medical professionals to enhance oral health outcomes. Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with periodontal diseases, including performing surgical and non-surgical periodontal therapy. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patients’ specific periodontal needs. Perform periodontal surgeries including scaling and root planing, regenerative procedures, and implant placement where applicable. Work closely with restorative dentists and other dental specialists to coordinate comprehensive care. Educate patients on periodontal health, preventive care, and maintenance strategies. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records following clinical and regulatory standards. Participate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development activities. Dental degree (DDS or equivalent) with specialist training and certification in Periodontology. Valid UAE dental license or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Consultant Periodontist. Minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience practicing periodontics, preferably in a consultant or specialist capacity. Proficient in both surgical and non-surgical periodontal treatments and technologies. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
