Responsibilities

THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

In this position, you will consult/analyze and deliver on more complex assignments/projects for your assigned area(s) of responsibility to ensure Agile theory, practices, and rules are understood and enacted. As a Process Owner, you will support two Agile Marketing teams within a fast-paced marketing environment while adhering to Agile Marketing principles, values, and mindsets.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Supporting two high performing Agile teams by facilitating progress toward the achievement of the teams’ sprint goals using Agile practices.
  • Reviewing incoming project requests from the teams, converting requests into projects, and setting up project schedules in the Adobe Workfront workflow platform (“The Queue”).
  • Coordinating more complex information with other non-Agile teams involved in projects and assisting with schedule adjustments to ensure projects and resources are on track and able to meet deadlines.
  • Identifying dependencies and removing impediments to Agile teams’ progress while facilitating Scrum ceremonies with assigned teams (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Demo, Retrospective and Backlog Refinement).
  • Managing the sprint backlog in the Queue and documenting each team’s capacity and work effort.
  • Capturing and reports on more complex Agile metrics such as velocity and cycle time to show progress throughout the sprint and sprint to sprint.
  • Working closely with product owners to understand sprint priorities as well as any changes that may impact the sprint. Keeping the product owner informed of capacity issues within the teams.
  • Ensuring key artifacts (Definition of Ready, Definition of Done, Team Norms) are established and reviewed and maintained on a regular cadence.
  • Facilitating collaborative sessions with resources to formulate more complex creative and practical solutions to process challenges.
  • Fostering assigned Agile teams to self-organization; ensuring and supporting empowerment of the teams.
  • Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution to strengthen the teams.
  • Keeping the teams focused on the Sprint and achieving Sprint goals.
  • Coaching Agile teams to support Agile adoption and application of principles.
  • Participating in the Process Owner Community of Practice to develop best practices and share amongst the process owner team for consistency and transparency.
