We are seeking an experienced and qualified Consultant Psychiatrist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, manage complex mental health conditions, and contribute to multidisciplinary treatment planning and patient wellbeing.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of psychiatric and mental health conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy, where qualified
  • Manage complex psychiatric cases and provide crisis intervention when required
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, risk assessments, and follow-up consultations
  • Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide patient and family counselling and education
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols
  • Contribute to clinical education, quality improvement, and evidence-based psychiatric practice

Requirements


Qualifications


  • Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry
  • Valid DHA eligibility or license, or eligibility to obtain one
  • Relevant post-specialization clinical experience at Consultant level
  • Strong knowledge of current psychiatric assessment and treatment protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary mental health team
