We provide early intervention mental health services to 12-25-year-olds across Australia, offering support through over 145 communities, online and phone counselling, vocational services, and schools. Reporting to the Clinical Director and collaborating closely with the Psychiatry Registrar, headspace Early Psychosis Manager, and headspace Eastern Shore Manager, you will lead the delivery of high-quality clinical care to young people across the state. Your responsibilities will include: Lead clinical care for young individuals from intake to treatment completion. Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment in a collaborative environment with clients and families. Develop and implement discharge plans ensuring continued care. Supervise Psychiatry Registrars and provide clinical leadership to the team. Engage in research, service evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives. This is an area where your expertise will create long- Previous experience in youth mental health. Advanced clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, risk management, and treatment provision. Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in multidisciplinary collaboration. A proven track record in working with diverse and vulnerable populations, including those with physical health, sexual health, mental health, and AOD presentations. Mandatory qualification/s, competencies and/or licences Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). A medical degree and full current registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA). Accredited RANZCP supervisor for registrars in training Current Drivers Licence and ability to travel between EACH location when required. Additional Information What’s in it for you?
