Full job descriptionA leading clinic in Dubai is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and patient-focused Psychiatrist to join its growing medical team.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care. We are looking for a professional who can build trusting relationships with patients, maintain high standards of clinical practice, and contribute to the clinic’s growth through excellent service and ethical patient engagement.

Candidates with an established patient network, a strong professional reputation, or experience in a premium private healthcare setting are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric consultations, assessments, and mental health evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage psychiatric conditions in accordance with professional guidelines.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s clinical needs.
• Provide appropriate medication management and monitor treatment outcomes.
• Offer psychotherapy or other psychological interventions when qualified and within the scope of practice.
• Monitor patient progress and arrange follow-up consultations.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals when multidisciplinary care is required.
• Provide patient and family education where appropriate.
• Build long-term patient relationships and support continuity of care.
• Contribute to clinic development through professional networking, ethical referrals, and patient retention.

Requirements

• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).
• Relevant postgraduate qualification in psychiatry.
• Valid DHA licence or eligibility for the appropriate Dubai healthcare professional licence.
• Relevant clinical experience in psychiatry and mental healthcare.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, ethical, and patient-centred approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team.
• Experience in private healthcare or a UAE clinic is an advantage.
• An existing patient base or demonstrated ability to develop a professional referral network is preferred.
