As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will provide expert psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to adult and adolescent patients, managing complex mental health conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care and improve patient outcomes in a dynamic clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using pharmacological and psychotherapeutic interventions. Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly. Work collaboratively with medical staff, psychologists, and social workers to coordinate holistic patient care. Provide patient and family education regarding conditions, treatment options, and prognosis. Maintain detailed clinical records in compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. Stay abreast of advancements in psychiatric research and clinical practice. Medical degree with specialist training in psychiatry from a recognized institution. Board certification or equivalent qualification in psychiatry. Valid medical license to practice psychiatry in the Gulf region. Proven experience in managing a wide range of psychiatric disorders. Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy techniques. Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
