Role Overview A prestigious tertiary care hospital in Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly experienced Consultant Radiologist with expertise in PET-CT to join its advanced imaging department. The role involves interpreting complex PET-CT scans, supporting oncological and neurological diagnostics, and contributing to multidisciplinary care and academic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Interpret PET-CT and hybrid imaging studies (e.g., SPECT/CT, diagnostic CT) for oncology, neurology, and cardiology cases Collaborate with oncologists, neurologists, and surgeons to support diagnosis, staging, and treatment planning Supervise and guide nuclear medicine technologists and junior radiologists Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and SCFHS standards Participate in tumor boards, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives Contribute to research, teaching, and continuous medical education within the department Maintain accurate and timely reporting using PACS and RIS systems Qualifications & Requirements Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed residency in Radiology Fellowship or subspecialty training in PET-CT / Nuclear Medicine Imaging Board-certified (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, Canadian FRCP, or equivalent) Minimum 3–5 years of post-fellowship experience in PET-CT interpretation Eligible for Consultant classification by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage Experience with advanced imaging platforms and reporting systems Preferred Attributes Strong background in oncologic imaging and metabolic diagnostics Familiarity with radiopharmaceutical protocols and tracer kinetics Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills Interest in academic teaching or clinical research Salary: 80000 - 90000 SAR Per month
