To strengthen our Regulatory Compliance & Risk (RCR) practice in APAC, we are looking for experienced subject matter experts in the fields of Business Risk and Compliance in banking with a focus on Private Banking / Wealth Management Business. About the job: As a Management Consultant, you will acquire first-hand consulting experience in the banking industry, build knowledge on a wide range of companies, and apply project management best practices in a fast-paced and intellectually challenging work environment. As we carry out all projects at the clients’ premises, you will play a key role in building trusted client relationships through high quality deliverables and leveraging our industry expertise. This role is ideal for someone who has strong knowledge in Business Analysis and understanding of APAC Risks and Regulatory environment within Private Banking & Wealth Management. This role also provides great exposure to senior stakeholders and tremendous career growth. Responsibilities: Client Engagement & Thought Leadership: * Independently drive the success of a work stream by directing activities, ensuring high quality deliverables and timely submission. * Participate, engage in and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective banking clients. * Be part of client engagement initiatives, understanding their unique challenges, and offering tailored solutions that drive value and impact. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of clientprojects. * Contribute to and execute our PBWM strategy in APAC that aligns with Synpulse's overall business strategy and global objectives. * Provide thought leadership, staying abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes and emerging technologies. About you: * 5-10 years of experience in the Private Banking and/or consulting industry. * Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management in financial services industry, especially in the area of Non-Financial Risks (Investment Suitability, Pricing, Fraud, AML, KYC, Cross Border etc.). * Knowledge in regulatory environment of Hong Kong/ Singapore (HKMA, SFC and MAS). * Lead risk management advice, remediation and transformation. * Experience in project management, change management, remediation. * Prior Risk Advisory and Control framework knowledge throughout Client Lifecycle Management project experience is a plus. * Be able to understand Regulatory Requirements, or findings from internal and external audit. * Track-record in performing risk and controls reviews and assessments, bringing strategic insights and practical recommendations. * Understanding of Information Technology, RegTechs/ FinTechs market in APAC and AI application in Risk and Compliance areas will be considered as a plus. * Experience in interacting with regulators is an advantage. * Business acumen and market understanding as well as an entrepreneurial attitude with a desire to learn. * Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills * Strong presentation, facilitation, influencing and stakeholder management skills. * Excellent command of both written and spoken English. * Bachelor/Master's degree in Business, Law, Engineering, and/ or other related fields. * Professional in English, Mandarin and Cantonese are a plus.
