About the role The Financial Services – Consultant/Senior Consultant (APAC) delivers high-standard, fact-based, investment-grade research and advice to Financial Services and Corporate clients, partnering closely with regional Consulting and Commercial stakeholders to drive consistent execution quality, scalable capability-building, and a market-relevant FS portfolio in APAC. This role combines (1) project management, (2) training & enablement, and (3) commercial + product/portfolio shaping to ensure we: Lead the most complex and/or strategically important engagements as a senior project lead (not only the highest-value projects). Build a consistent baseline of Companies projects execution and client engagement across the broader APAC consulting pool through coaching, training, and certifications. Support the local consulting strategy, defining and adapting our Companies solutions to better align with APAC specificities, translating client needs into collateral, templates, and repeatable frameworks, and feeding those insights back into the global practice roadmap. Role can be located in any of the Euromonitor APAC offices, with Singapore, Shanghai or Hong Kong preferred. The consultant is responsible for engagement activities associated with the Companies (Financial Services) Practice (including IPO, M&A, Commercial Due Diligence, Portfolio-Company Analysis, Competitive Benchmarking Analysis, Business Model and Strategy Analysis, Growth Strategy, among others) with support from the Practice Manager and Head of Practice. You will work towards the following goals: Solve complex business problems, developing an efficient and streamlined project structure and proactively guiding others on how to apply it Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques to address client questions and deliver value-added reports and insights Develop knowledge of prevailing trends, financials, and operating drivers across multiple industries/segments, and turn these insights into reusable team guidance (templates, examples, best practices) Be part of a high-performing multidisciplinary Practice team, learning and supporting team members, and actively enabling APAC consultants through coaching and training Contribute to commercial business development activities including marketing, commercial opportunity identification/qualification and proposal development/presentation, client interaction and proposal review/quality control This is a role that requires rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis, keen commercial awareness, and openness towards building strong relationships with our Commercial (CG/Sales), Syndicated research, Analytics and Technology departments. However, from the outset, this role will require a great deal of communication with regional APAC stakeholders -Regional Consulting and CGBD Directors, local Consulting research teams, Sales/CGBD partners, and practice leadership; plus relevant internal expert groups and operations support as needed - under the guidance of the Practice Manager and Head of Practice, to ensure we scale consistent execution standards and improve how we package and deliver FS solutions in APAC. The role will be measured using a mix of delivery, commercial, and enablement metrics: Managed revenues (revenue managed on executed/led projects) Cost share % / delivery efficiency on projects led/oversighted (
