ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our Risk Advisory Services (RAS) team based in Adelaide. BDO’s Risk Advisory Team provides a full range of risk solutions to help our clients navigate a diverse range of challenges, changes, and opportunities. The services the team provide includes:

• Risk Consulting
• Internal Audit
• Processes Improvement - including Process Mapping and Control Remediation
• Third Party Assurance
• Business Continuity and Resilience Services
• Compliance Advisory

Our broader Adelaide Advisory Team is growing and beyond RAS, provides economic and infrastructure advisory and consulting services. This role may provide opportunity to also work across these areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supporting the delivery of internal audits, business risk assurance and business process improvement projects in accordance with BDO’s methodologies and procedures. This will include report writing and communicating with clients
• Recommending policy, procedural, process, system and control improvements, where identified
• Assisting in preparing proposals/ scoping documents in response to client requests, preparing reports for projects undertaken and assisting with the development of new methodologies and service offerings
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff
