Role Overview
As a Technical ServiceNow Manager, you will drive sales efforts by leading pre-sales activities, demonstrating strong knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities, and showcasing the value proposition to prospective clients. Collaborating with Solution Architects and Directors, you will focus on driving transformation solutions using ServiceNow. Leading product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations will be key to articulating the benefits of ServiceNow solutions.
In this role, you will identify business development opportunities and support the creation of market-differentiated offerings. You will develop complex solutions for large sales opportunities, contributing to value propositions, customer business cases, package roadmaps, and architectures. Your deep expertise in ServiceNow technology will help address client business needs, expand solution footprints, and align solutions with client strategies.
Building and nurturing strong client relationships, understanding their pain points, and positioning ServiceNow as the optimal solution will be essential. You will oversee the delivery of ServiceNow projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Leading and mentoring delivery teams, providing guidance throughout the project lifecycle, and actively sharing knowledge to promote best practices within the team will be crucial components of your role.
Furthermore, you will stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the ServiceNow ecosystem to maintain our competitive edge. Candidates are expected to obtain and maintain relevant ServiceNow certifications to ensure high standards of expertise and credibility.
Technical Responsibilities
In addition to the overall role responsibilities, as a Manager, you will:
Lead the technical design and architecture of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Oversee the development and implementation of ServiceNow applications, including customisations and integrations with other systems.
Ensure technical best practices are followed, performing code reviews and providing technical guidance to the development team.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during project execution, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
Provide technical training and support to clients, ensuring they are equipped to utilise ServiceNow effectively post-implementation.
Coordinate with other architects, developers, program and project management about project LOE, project tasks, project progress and risks.
Author required documentation, briefings, models, and designs including SLAs and various technical standards in support of the application(s).
Serve as SME for best practices, processes, and applications within the ServiceNow platform.
Act as the key point of contact for application-specific issues, questions, and solutions for IT leadership, staff, and other contractors.
Help recruit and mentor junior developers in ServiceNow Development, Best Practices, and Agile Development.
