In this vital role, you will provide exceptional surgical care for patients experiencing various conditions affecting the hand and upper extremities. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of hand-related disorders including fractures, tendon injuries, and nerve compressions. You will be empowered to create personalized treatment plans, perform surgical procedures, and work alongside multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and recovery. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive evaluations and accurate diagnoses of hand and upper extremity conditions. Develop individualized treatment strategies that align with each patient's unique needs. Carry out surgical procedures, including arthroscopies, tendon repairs, and reconstructive surgeries. Integrate innovative surgical techniques to enhance patient outcomes. Collaborate with physical and occupational therapists to implement effective rehabilitation programs. Engage in ongoing medical education to stay informed about advancements in hand surgery. Medical degree and a valid license to practice as a Consultant/Specialist Hand Surgeon. Completion of residency training in Orthopedic Surgery or Plastic Surgery, along with a fellowship in Hand Surgery. Prior experience in diagnosing and managing hand and upper extremity conditions is essential. Proficiency in performing a variety of hand surgical procedures. Solid understanding of microsurgery and reconstructive techniques. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and the healthcare team. Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment.
