In this role, you will bring your expertise in performing minimally invasive procedures that utilize imaging technology for diagnosing and treating medical conditions. As a Consultant/Specialist in Interventional Radiology, you will be responsible for a variety of procedures including but not limited to angiography, embolization, and biopsies. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to individual patient needs. Your technical proficiency and compassionate approach will be crucial in providing safe and effective care, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes and well-being. Key Responsibilities Perform and assist in a variety of interventional radiology procedures using advanced imaging guidance. Conduct patient evaluations by reviewing medical histories and imaging studies to determine appropriate procedures. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective communication. Maintain detailed records of all procedures and patient interactions. Stay informed on the latest advancements and best practices in the field of interventional radiology. Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards, particularly concerning radiation safety. Medical degree (MD or DO) with a valid license to practice in the relevant state. Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Radiology is preferred. Significant experience in performing interventional radiology procedures. Strong proficiency with imaging modalities and interventional techniques. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for comprehensive documentation. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical medical practices.
