In this pivotal role, you will provide expert care to pregnant women, particularly those experiencing high-risk pregnancies and fetal abnormalities. Your responsibilities will encompass comprehensive patient evaluations, advanced diagnostic testing, and the development of personalized management plans, all aimed at ensuring the health and safety of both mothers and their unborn children. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional prenatal care and support clinical decision-making. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of pregnant patients with high-risk conditions Perform and interpret advanced imaging and diagnostic tests, including ultrasounds Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with healthcare providers Provide counseling and education to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options Monitor fetal development and manage complications as they arise Conduct fetal procedures, including amniocentesis and fetal blood sampling Participate in research and clinical trials in the field of maternal and fetal medicine Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records Stay current with advancements in maternal and fetal medicine through continuous professional development Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards in all aspects of patient care Medical degree and a valid license to practice medicine Completion of residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology Fellowship training in Maternal and Fetal Medicine Board certification or eligibility in Maternal and Fetal Medicine Proven experience in high-risk obstetrics and fetal diagnostics Strong clinical and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and their families Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team Detail-oriented, with the capacity to manage multiple cases effectively Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest developments in the field Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare
