As a Consultant/Specialist Oncologist, you will utilize your extensive knowledge and experience in oncology to develop comprehensive treatment plans, guiding patients through their diagnosis and treatment options. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including thorough medical histories and physical evaluations. Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, to accurately assess cancer diagnosis and staging. Develop individualized treatment plans that may include chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care. Monitor patients’ responses to treatments and modify plans as necessary to optimize recovery and quality of life. Educate patients and their families on diagnosis, available treatment options, and management of potential side effects. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
