We are currently seeking a skilled Consultant/Specialist Ophthalmologist to join our esteemed network. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to diagnose and treat a wide range of eye-related conditions, providing high-quality care that enhances patient outcomes. Your commitment to excellence in ophthalmology will be vital in ensuring the visual health of our patients. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assess patient medical histories to diagnose ocular conditions. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including visual acuity tests, slit-lamp examinations, and fundus photography. Diagnose and manage various eye diseases, such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachment. Perform surgical procedures including cataract surgery, LASIK, and other corrective surgeries. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' unique needs. Provide follow-up care and monitor patients’ recovery post-operatively. Educate patients and their families on eye health, preventive measures, and treatment options. Stay current with medical advancements and participate in continuous professional development activities. M.D. or equivalent degree with specialization in Ophthalmology and valid medical license. Significant experience in clinical and surgical ophthalmology, with a focus on diagnosing and treating complex eye conditions. Proficient in ophthalmic surgical techniques and use of modern medical equipment. Strong understanding of recent advancements in ophthalmology and patient care. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and healthcare colleagues. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
