SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Consultant/Specialist in Pediatric Emergency Medicine to join our esteemed medical team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing immediate and comprehensive care to children facing acute medical conditions and injuries. Your expertise in pediatric emergencies will be pivotal in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of urgent health concerns. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that each young patient receives timely and effective care. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert assessment and management of pediatric patients in the emergency setting. Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries in children of all ages. Perform emergency procedures as necessary, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices. Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. Educate families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and necessary follow-up care. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patient interactions. Participate in department initiatives and quality improvement projects related to pediatric emergency care. Medical degree and residency in Pediatrics, with fellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine preferred. Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Experience working in a pediatric emergency department. Strong knowledge of emergency protocols, guidelines, and treatment modalities for children. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and their families. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment. Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality improvement efforts. Willingness to provide on-call and weekend coverage as needed.
