SearchPlus HR is excited to announce an opening for a Consultant/Specialist in Pediatric Emergency Medicine to join our dedicated team. In this essential role, you will deliver immediate care to pediatric patients in high-stress situations, ensuring their safety and well-being during emergencies. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments, diagnosing medical conditions and injuries, and implementing effective treatment plans tailored for children. You will work in partnership with a team of health professionals to provide the highest standards of pediatric care. Key Responsibilities: Expertly assess and manage acute medical conditions in pediatric patients. Diagnose and provide timely treatment for a wide range of pediatric emergencies. Perform medical procedures and interventions in accordance with best practices. Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to facilitate efficient care and patient management. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear guidance and education about care processes. Ensure accurate documentation of patient interactions and care provided. Engage in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives within the department. A medical degree with completion of residency in Pediatrics; fellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine preferred. Current board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Proven experience in a Pediatric Emergency Department setting. Comprehensive knowledge of pediatric emergency protocols, treatment guidelines, and best practices. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to patients, families, and medical colleagues effectively. Capability to perform well under pressure and in fast-paced environments. A commitment to the highest standards of patient care and continuous quality improvement. Availability for on-call duties and flexible scheduling, including weekends as needed.
