In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality podiatric care to patients with a range of foot and ankle conditions, significantly enhancing their quality of life and mobility. As a Consultant / Specialist Podiatrist, your primary duties will involve assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing podiatric issues through both conservative methods and surgical interventions. Your expertise will be key in developing individualized treatment plans, performing necessary procedures, and providing education to patients about foot health. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients suffering from various foot and ankle disorders Create and implement tailored treatment plans to address individual patient needs Perform surgical procedures as necessary, adhering to the highest standards of care Offer postoperative care and support, monitoring recovery and addressing any complications Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care Educate patients and families on foot care, injury prevention, and healthy practices Medical degree with specialization in Podiatry and valid medical licensing Board certification in Podiatric Medicine Completion of an accredited residency in Podiatric Surgery Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of foot and ankle conditions Strong surgical skills with proficiency in a range of podiatric procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient engagement Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
