Role Overview A senior surgical oncology consultant responsible for delivering advanced cancer surgery services within a leading tertiary hospital in Dubai. The role focuses on comprehensive oncologic care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and contributing to the growth of a modern, evidence‑based cancer program. Key Responsibilities Provide expert management of solid organ malignancies, including breast, GI, hepatobiliary, endocrine, soft‑tissue, and other complex oncologic conditions. Perform advanced oncologic surgeries using modern open, laparoscopic, and minimally invasive techniques. Lead multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate closely with medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, and supportive care teams. Oversee pre‑operative evaluation, surgical planning, intraoperative decision‑making, and post‑operative follow‑up. Ensure adherence to international standards of patient safety, clinical quality, and documentation. Participate in clinical governance, audits, morbidity & mortality reviews, and service development initiatives. Teach, mentor, and support residents, fellows, and allied health professionals. Engage in research, innovation, and evidence‑based practice to enhance cancer outcomes. Qualifications & Requirements American Board or Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) certification in Surgical Oncology. Minimum 8–10 years post‑training experience in a high‑volume tertiary or academic center. Proven expertise in complex cancer surgery and multidisciplinary cancer care pathways. Proficiency with modern surgical technologies and minimally invasive approaches. Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Eligibility for DHA Consultant License. Responsibilities
