Description

AVP is looking for talented, diverse, and driven professionals ready to join our team of top-tier consultants. If you’re passionate about Digital Asset Management (DAM) and skilled in data manipulation, technical problem-solving, and creative solution design, we’d love to hear from you.
As a leading DAM consulting firm, we empower organizations to unlock the full potential of their data, information, and creative assets. Working with world-class organizations across industries, we deliver strategic, impactful, and innovative solutions that enable our clients to protect, manage, use, and maximize the value of their content. Our work spans DAM strategy and implementation, system migration, and exploratory R&D projects that help organizations research, prototype, and evaluate new approaches to asset and data management.
We are deeply committed to creating a more equitable and inclusive world. We pursue our values through our work, ensuring that accurate and authentic data is available and used to create breakthrough solutions and solve complex problems. We also stand firmly against systemic racism and all other forms of oppression and hold ourselves accountable for taking actions that reflect our values. With these principles at our core, we welcome potential team members who share our commitments and bring diverse perspectives and experiences to our work.

YOUR SKILLS

  • You synthesize complex findings into clear, actionable insights and communicate them effectively.
  • You’re a problem-solver, identifying root causes and proposing innovative solutions.
  • You manage time well, prioritizing tasks, setting realistic goals, and staying focused under tight deadlines.
  • You lead by building relationships, motivating teams, and holding yourself accountable.
  • You think strategically, translating business needs into effective technical solutions.
  • You communicate effectively, listening empathetically, asking insightful questions, and simplifying technical concepts.
  • You collaborate by sharing knowledge, valuing team input, and celebrating others’ successes.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • You have hands-on experience implementing and configuring DAM systems or similar enterprise platforms.
  • You understand data structures, taxonomy, and controlled vocabularies, and can map data effectively.
  • You are proficient in manipulating and transforming data in spreadsheets (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) with a solid understanding of common transformation challenges and how to resolve them.
  • You have familiarity with APIs, ETL tools, or scripting (Python, PowerShell, SQL) to streamline workflows and transform data.
  • You can collaborate with IT teams, developers, and DAM vendors to troubleshoot technical challenges.
  • You are skilled at conducting quality control on data and system functionality.

YOUR EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED)

  • You have led DAM migration or optimization projects end-to-end, from strategy to execution.
  • You have experience as a DAM consultant, DAM Manager, or in a similar role.
  • You have experience with AWS or other cloud services to securely transfer digital assets and execute complex data transformations.
  • You have experience with system integrations, using tools like Postman to test and validate workflows.
  • You have strong data visualization skills, turning technical reports into clear, compelling visuals.
Responsibilities

As a Consultant, Technical Solutions, with AVP, you will:

  • Support DAM implementation, configuration, and data migration projects for clients across industries.
  • Research and prototype innovative solutions to help clients explore new approaches to asset management, such as AI metadata generation or workflow automation.
  • Analyze and map data structures, ensuring accurate transformation and alignment with evolving systems.
  • Develop and execute technical workflows, balancing automation, scripting, and manual processes.
  • Collaborate with DAM platform vendors, IT teams, and stakeholders to optimize integrations and system performance.
  • Conduct quality assurance and validation for data, and system functionality.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, gathering input to inform data governance, workflows, and technical requirements.
  • Advise clients and provide technical guidance and recommendations based on best practices and industry trends.
  • Champion continuous improvement, sharing ideas, mentoring others, and refining methodologies.
  • Occasionally travel to work onsite with clients, ensuring hands-on support and training.
