There are 8.5 clinical sessions (including ward round and on call rota, dedicated one admin session, MDTs) and 1.5 SPA. A review of Job Plan will be carried out at 6-12 months basis to re-assess level of SPA required. There is a scope for the candidate to pursue an interest in education/training/research and additional SPAs will be allocated accordingly. There will be time allocated for pre-operative and post-operative ward round.
There will be adequate provision for travel time when appointee need to travel between the sites. There will be cover arrangement for inpatients while the appointee is at a different site. The timetable is provisional and could be modified to the needs of the candidate. The appointee will have access to secretarial support and office facilities and the Trusts mentoring scheme.
