The Consultant V position works across the National Benefits Administration team in a variety of ways, with most time focused on four key areas. The role is responsible for the design, development, facilitation and maintenance of organization-wide meeting forums, communications including newsletters, SharePoint sites, All Hands meetings, and other team-wide forums. The role also serves the organization by engaging team members to implement initiatives and programs that build and strengthen a healthy culture across our nationally distributed, virtual team. The Consultant V role is responsible for staffing strategy, reporting, requests, and associated logistics, ensuring detailed tracking of staffing changes across the team, preparing, submitting, tracking, and drafting and refining justification narratives for staffing requests on behalf of leaders and communicating approval status. The role also serves as partner to finance business partners to prepare annual budget materials and maintain monthly financial forecasts for payroll and nonpayroll costs.
JOB SUMMARY:
Serves as lead consultant to ensure the alignment, buy-in, and coordination of diverse stakeholders to drive the implementation of successful business initiatives and projects. Provides expertise and drives the development and implementation of business initiatives, systems, and/or processes to a desired future state. Develops business strategy and ensures alignment and prioritization of organizational objectives and business initiatives. Manages complex projects or project components, leads change management activities, and performs complex data analyses to drive business initiatives. Participates in vendor management as required. Monitors compliance of work activities by ensuring business plans and team members adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
