A leading, world‑class ophthalmology facility is seeking an exceptional Consultant Vitreoretinal Surgeon with advanced expertise in both medical and surgical retina care. The ideal candidate will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering cutting‑edge retinal services and outstanding patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform complex vitreoretinal surgeries, including pars plana vitrectomy, retinal detachment repair, and management of macular disorders Diagnose and treat diabetic retinopathy, age‑related macular degeneration, retinal vascular diseases, and other retinal pathologies Conduct laser photocoagulation, intravitreal injections, and other advanced therapeutic procedures Utilize state‑of‑the‑art retinal imaging technologies such as OCT, FFA, ICG, and wide‑field imaging Collaborate with a multidisciplinary ophthalmic team to ensure comprehensive patient care Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and training initiatives Requirements Tier 1 medical qualifications, such as: American Board Certification UK CCT Canadian Fellowship Australian/New Zealand Fellowship Fellowship training in Vitreoretinal Surgery from a recognized institution Demonstrated excellence in vitreoretinal surgical outcomes and clinical decision‑making Eligibility for or possession of a DOH (Department of Health) license Strong communication skills and commitment to evidence‑based practice Salary: 80000 - 85000 AED Per annum
