As a Consultant, you’ll provide system solutions including configuration, testing, prioritization, analysis and problem resolution, while building and sustaining strategic partnerships. We’ll count on your expertise to consult and execute on highly complex, interdependent and specialized projects. It will be important to collaborate with the business, technology organization and external vendor partners to ensure business processes are aligned and that the system operates as one integrated system, supporting business strategies and processes.
TYPICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
Education: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in human resources, business administration, insurance or technology.
License/Certification/Designation: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
Experience: Eight or more years of demonstrated experience in business analysis, technology, process design and/or operations. Three to five years of related experience in one or more core functions of human resources with a demonstrated understanding of HRIS, preferably Workday, and other system components (i.e. configuration, testing, defect and release management).
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Demonstrated skills in influencing, educating, negotiating, and dealing with ambiguity. Knowledge of HRIS (Workday) and other human resources technology. Progressive experience in business consulting and analysis involving business process analysis and design, performance improvement, problem solving, planning, coordinating and organizing. Project management experience and experience working with senior leaders is preferred. Business consulting and relationship management skills. Proven data and analytics and problem resolution skills. Knowledge of human resources business processes and associate data management. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with system configuration, testing, integrations and report management; as well as release management and defect/problem resolution.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and HR Business Partner.
