ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a recent graduate or a seasoned professional eager to pursue your career in consulting, finance, and business strategy—while enjoying the lifestyle of one of BC’s most beautiful and affordable regions? Kootenay Peaks Advisors is hiring a Consulting Analyst to join our team in Creston, BC.
This is an in-person role based in Creston, BC and is not remote. Applicants must already be located in Canada and legally eligible to work here. We cannot sponsor visas or work permits.
This is a great opportunity to learn how to analyze businesses, understand financial statements, and contribute to real-world planning and decision-making. You’ll work with experienced advisors—many of whom are former business owners—and gain practical experience in financial modeling, strategy, and client engagement.
You’ll also get to support some of our favourite clients, including the Columbia Basin Trust.
Beyond the work, you’ll enjoy a lifestyle that few jobs offer. Creston is a mountain town surrounded by vineyards, lakes, trails, and ski hills—offering a relaxed pace of life, an active outdoor culture, and the chance to build your career while staying connected to nature.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Coordinate client projects: schedule meetings, prepare materials, take notes, and track follow-ups
  • Support research and business development activities, including proposals and presentations
  • Document and map business processes
  • Use Microsoft’s suite of tools—including Excel, Teams, Dynamics, and others—to analyze data and create reports
  • Build financial models to support business decisions
