POSITION DESCRIPTION:

CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Consulting Engagement Expert to join a growing and dynamic program to provide consulting support and expertise as part of a clients back-office modernization effort. You will be responsible for planning, executing and delivering projects on time and within the quality and funding standards set by the client. You will lead a cross-functional team of analysts helping identify issues, assess processes and strategies, propose solutions, and assist with implementing changes. You will collaborate with other project teams of similar members and expertise, build strong relationships with external stakeholders, and overall demonstrate and present expert guidance and solutions to ensure our clients needs are satisfied.
This position is located in our Arlington, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and develop a multi-faceted team to drive successful outcomes.
  • Expert management of project scope, stakeholder expectations, project alignment, and risk management methodologies.
  • Engage with the government client as a key point of contact for problems and questions.
  • Assist with planning and organization of the work for our client.
  • Produce high quality deliverables in accordance with client standards.
  • Advise on lessons learned and best practices to support client initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain client governance frameworks and compliance processes.
  • Identify and communicate areas of improvement, business processes findings, potential business opportunities, risks and issues to team leads and management.
  • Communicate project milestones to external client stakeholders and internal leadership.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Our federal stakeholder requires that all applicants possess US citizenship and be eligible for a Secret level clearance.
  • Bachelors Degree or higher is preferred but will consider additional experience in lieu of education.
  • 6+ years of project experience related to business process analysis and modernization, re-engineering, or other relevant technology and federal back-office operations.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, scrum, and waterfall methodologies and experience using these methodologies to successfully deliver solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable interfacing with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Analytical mindset and high attention to detail.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $214,800.00.
