BASIC REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
8+ years of experience in energy sector across industry, consulting, or finance, in areas related to commercial analysis, financial modelling, research and benchmarking, M&A.
Experience in the energy space including energy value chain, critical minerals, renewable power, emissions estimates and management, and environmental management is required. Middle East and GCC experience is favourable.
Experience in management consulting will be a significant plus, especially experience building client ready ppt, excel and word documents and a strong quantitative background and analytical frame of mind and prepared to use data to back up opinions.
Minimum qualifications are BSc. in engineering, preferably in chemical, environmental or process engineering and a post-graduate degree (including in finance, economics, or business).
Strong written and oral presentation skills in English (strong language skills in Arabic is a plus).
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, with a willingness to
contribute ideas and provide constructive feedback.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Team : The EMEA Energy Transition Consulting Team is a trusted advisor of leading companies in the traditional and new energy sectors, investor, and governments. Typical studies range from energy transition strategy assistance, transaction due diligence, emissions reduction roadmap development, supply chain assessments and ESG/Energy policy advise.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of consultants and experts with wideranging backgrounds in energy and the energy transition. The varied and changing nature of our projects leads to development of a diverse set of skills, and exposure to different industries and clients, including senior industry leaders and policy makers.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
Lead project delivery by defining the approach, frameworks, data and analyses needed and derive the key messages and outcomes.
Efficiently support and guide consultants in analyzing large quantities of data to produce insights using data analytics tools or programming languages.
Manage and coach a team of consultants to deliver a project and develop their consulting and energy transition skillset.
Deliver insights through written reports, presentations, and client interactions as well as lead client meetings and presentation of a project’s reports.
Support business development (BD) by leading proposal development, preparing pitch decks and getting involved in BD and project scoping meetings by also leveraging professional industry contacts and connections.
Apply industry knowledge and seek opportunities and connections to develop thought leadership on key energy transition topics and trends.
