Newfire is seeking a Consulting Product Manager with SaaS experience to drive the modernization and spearhead the development of a unified, next-generation clinical technology platform for a current healthcare client. This new platform will serve as the foundation for all clinical data and operations across every line of business. By creating a robust and innovative solution, this leader will enable enhanced care management, utilization management, and data-driven decision-making—ultimately working to improve healthcare outcomes for millions of Americans. The Consulting Product Manager provides product leadership within client engagements, working at the intersection of client organizations and Newfire delivery teams. You will run workstreams within engagements, own roadmap and backlog for defined product scopes, and help clients improve their product processes. This is not a classic PM role—it requires deep PM skills applied in a consulting context. Role & responsibilities Own roadmap development, backlog management, and stakeholder alignment for assigned workstreams within client engagements Interface with client product counterparts, subject matter experts, and functional leads to translate business problems into delivered solutions Help clients organize and improve their product processes, including implementing PDLCs and building cross-functional alignment Bridge subject matter experts (clinical, operational, commercial) with engineering and design teams Coordinate with Studio@Newfire to integrate research, service design, and UX into engagements Advise clients on AI-powered product features and design patterns Document reusable approaches, templates, and playbook elements for future engagements Contribute to Newfire intellectual property and help shape how future consultants approach similar challenges. You’re a Perfect Match If You Have: 4–7 years in formal product management roles within functional product organizations Experience in at least two organizations with ability to adapt to different cultures and constraints Track record of helping organizations improve how they do product work Strong bridge-building skills—ability to translate between clinical/operational/commercial domains and technical teams Active use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) in your work with ability to advise others on AI capabilities Fluent English (written and verbal) with ability to present to executives, facilitate workshops, and create clear documentation Self-directed with ability to find your own way and build playbooks without extensive mentoring Preferred Healthcare experience: provider, payor, or revenue cycle management workflows Consulting, agency, or multi-client environment background Experience collaborating with UX research, service design, or design studios The Offer Newfire Global is committed to consistent compensation practices across our organization. Total compensation for this role is market driven, with a salary of $132,350 - $150,492. Base pay is ultimately determined based on a candidate's skills, expertise, and experience.
