As a Consulting Project Management Manager (CPMM) you will be leading a team of Project Managers and Project Directors to drive the successful execution and delivery of any and all projects under their management. This opportunity will allow you to accelerate your career growth, cultivate your people management capabilities and experience, develop deep business acumen, hone your selling skills, and become adept at deal structuring. This position is envisaged to be a mix of working from office/home, as well as travel up to 20% of workable time.
In the Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) delivery team we are looking for delivery management specialists with a passion for nurturing customer relationships, championing high quality throughout presales and delivery, aligning delivery to successful customer outcomes, whilst maintaining a healthy portfolio and project management team.

REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (RQS/MQS)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field AND 10+ years of experience in consulting/professional services delivery, project management, practice management, or related field OR equivalent experience.

ADDITIONAL OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (PQS)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field AND 12+ years of experience in consulting/professional services delivery, project management, or practice management OR leading portfolio management, complex programs, or revenue-driven (e.g., $10 million +) programs OR equivalent experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • 5+ years of consulting, professional services, or related financial management experience (e.g., cost management, revenue forecasting).

Responsibilities:

  • Account Delivery Management – You will support strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the customer portfolio (often as part of a steering committee) to ensure service delivery is on track and progressing as expected, or if required support and lead in addressing any issues or challenges. This activity would also include supporting with new customer opportunities in partnership with the Sales team as needed, in an effort to drive ongoing growth and success for the business and team.
  • Relationship Development - You will manage customer relationships across a set of assigned customer accounts, driving intentional customer conversations to nurture deeper relationships and progress opportunities. This will include collaborating across internal stakeholders for strategic alignment, risk and issues management as well as acting (as required) as a customer Executive Steerco member.
  • Presales and Contracting - You will partner with pursuit teams ensuring high quality in deal and contract constructs, aligning Consulting Project Managers for input to ensure that the deals being sold can be successfully delivered. You will understand customer and subcontractor obligations, review and approve original contracts and subsequent change requests, as well as acting as an escalation point should the contract not be of the required quality and structure.
  • Delivery Management – You will oversee a Consulting Project Manager delivery team, modelling our values, coaching and caring for your team, driving delivery excellence, maturity and quality. This will include acting as DME (Delivery Management Executive) for key nominated engagements.
  • Portfolio Management – You will oversee a broad portfolio of deliveries managed or supported by Consulting Project Managers, review portfolio health, ensuring methodologies, processes, tools and standards are consistently leveraged, intervening to course correct and remediating challenged engagements as necessary.
  • Monitoring and Controlling - You will establish governance rhythms over your portfolio of customer engagements, conduct Project Health Reviews and manage business Key Performance Indicators to agreed standards (e.g. ACR Consumption, Project Revenue, Billed Revenue, Gross Margin and Profitability, NPS etc), stepping in to remediate where necessary. Per above this may include you may be positioned as an Executive Steerco Member on customer engagements.
  • Business Growth - You will manage all aspects of the financial health of your portfolio, driving incremental business growth by recognizing opportunities, maximizing cloud growth and providing input into strategic account plans. Recognizing strategic opportunities, create a shared vision with key stakeholders to shape sustainable growth for customer accounts.
