In this impactful and exciting position, you’ll lead consumer insights across our Africa, Asia, Australia, Central and Eastern Europe regions (AAACEE), driving consumer-centric decision-making. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Champion Consumer Centricity: Elevate consumer understanding in the AAACEE region, especially in key markets, to optimise our portfolio, uncover new opportunities, and bolster brand equity.
  • Develop the Consumer Compass: Collaborate with global, regional, and cluster teams to advance the Consumer Compass framework, ensuring alignment and strategic insights.
  • Lead Social Listening Initiatives: Establish a robust Social Listening Framework and generate three key trend reports to capture the real-time consumer voice.
  • Support Global Frameworks: Implement and monitor global frameworks like Brand Building and Typologies, advising and educating stakeholders on their deployment in AAACEE markets.
  • Collaborate with Global Teams: Partner with global consumer insights teams to validate data relevance for the AAACEE region, fostering strong relationships and ensuring data-driven strategies.
  • Be the Consumer Advocate: Lead the consumer agenda by deeply understanding their needs through research and firsthand listening, shaping market strategies that drive growth and success.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Demonstrated experience as a Consumer Insights Manager within a large FMCG or related industry, showcasing your ability to drive impactful insights.
  • Senior leader with the gravitas to advise and present to senior leadership teams, manage upwards, and influence without direct line management responsibilities.
  • A subject matter expert in Consumer Insights, adept at gathering quantitative data and working within a matrix environment or research agency.
  • Strong analytical skills paired with strategic thinking to navigate complex data and inform business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience with social listening tools and frameworks to capture and analyse consumer sentiments in real-time.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality results, showcasing your organisational skills and attention to detail.
