KMBC-TV, the ABC affiliate in Kansas City, is seeking a Consumer & Investigative Reporter to join our newsroom and collaborate closely with our award-winning investigative team. This is a high-impact, enterprise role focused on exposing consumer issues, holding institutions accountable, and helping viewers navigate the problems that affect their daily lives. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to originate, develop, and report compelling consumer stories across broadcast, digital, and social platforms. We are less focused on years of experience and more focused on demonstrated results—storytelling that leads to change, engagement, and real community impact.
