Overview Reports to: Consumer Lending Operations Servicing Supervisor Functions Supervised: None Primary Functions: Process branch and department requests, support all consumer lending departments on non-production items. Duties and Responsibilities: Comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable and related credit union activities. Understand and maintain a knowledge of all Consumer lending programs. Daily, review and analyze assigned reports to identify loan errors. Take corrective action as needed. Effectively communicate, orally and in writing, with members, dealers and others within the credit union regarding loan documentation or the deficiency thereof. Respond to all phone, mail, email and system generated inquiries regarding post loan closing and financial transactions. Perform maintenance functions, including but not limited to, file maintenance updates in various systems. Notify dealers of short payoffs and dealer reserves owed; actively follow up, via letters and calls, to collect the outstanding reserves. Perform additional research and contact makers as needed regarding aftermarket product contact refunds, IVR Payments, Short Payoffs, and other negotiable items. Complete CRM requests by following up with members, performing file maintenance and preparing letters upon request. Provide prompt, professional, helpful, knowledgeable and courteous member service. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not Applicable Experience/Skills: Two years Consumer Lending, Title or Office Administration experience which includes direct customer contact. Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and possess excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities required. Must have strong personality traits to handle complex and adverse situations. Proficient in use of computer, Word and Excel. Tenure: Assignment to Consumer Lending Operations Servicing Officer I (Category 12), Consumer Lending Operations Servicing Officer II (Category 11), and Consumer Lending Operations Servicing Officer III (Category 10) position requires meeting proven acceptable performance standards as established by management. Directly related work experience and/or accelerated training completion may be substituted for tenure. Compensation Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage requirements, and will fall within the range provided below. In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range.
