Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding service and contribute to overall team effort.
  • Fully understand and actively assist members in using credit union products and services.
  • Occasionally interview applicants to obtain personal and financial data and assist with completion of loan applications.
  • Keep records or files of credit transactions, inquiries, pending loans, loan activity reports and daily loan listings.
  • Provide assistance with filing, entering data, recording information, answering phones, copying, faxing, sending letters and general office duties.
  • Support and assist the loan officers with applications, booking and completion of loans.
  • Assist with onboarding and welcoming of new members, showing appreciation for their business.
  • Create procedures that help streamline processes for our members and loan officers.
  • Provide assistance to the Phone Center when needed.
  • Communicate with members on disclosing loans, making appointments to close loans, walking them through the electronic signature process, etc.
  • Ensure all items are completed before booking loans.
  • Process lien entries and releases, filing of out-of-state titles and claims for GAP insurance.
  • Assist with all loan maintenance, payment adjustments, skip a pays and automatic payments.
  • Respond to audit exceptions for loan processing or lending staff.
  • Ensure confidentiality regarding member transactions and information.
  • Ensure compliance with all credit union policies and procedures.
