Description Summary Obtains all necessary information from dealer partners to process & complete approved indirect loans. Obtains all necessary member information to process & complete approved direct loans which includes unsecured and secured loans. Maintaining a good working relationship with dealer partners. Examining documents to ensure accuracy for compliance. Familiar with ARC OS functions along with policies & procedures within the loan department & the CU. Support the Credit Union’s mission, visions, strategic goals, quality initiatives and service standards. Support and provide exceptional internal and external member service. Essential Functions 50% 1. Review and understand current program guidelines, policies and regulations to effectively process and close loans. Have a full understanding of what is required for dealer documentation, culture and verbiage. Make quality judgment and interpret loan documentation received in dealer package. Accurately input data into system as needed. Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks, as well as meeting deadlines simultaneously. Ensure compliance standards are met. Ensure all information on loan documentation is correct. Participate in the effectiveness, efficiency and workflow of the team. 30% 2. Demonstrate good working knowledge of loan processing guidelines and requirements. Responds to dealer partners and member inquiries, via phone/email/IM conveying accurate information effectively. 10% 3. Complete new member packages to be mailed in a timely manner. Batch adverse action to be printed and mailed out in a timely manner. Maintain department monthly reports. Monitor required logs and reports to ensure necessary corrections and updates are made in a timely manner. Monitor and work Loan Corrections Service Events as necessary. Non-essential Functions 10% 1. Completes documentations promptly & accurately & maintains confidentiality of all member records. May perform a variety of miscellaneous other duties as assigned. Expectations Provide courteous & professional service by establishing positive & supportive relationships with internal & external members & keeping all information private & confidential. Ensures records, reports & related documents are accurate, current & submitted on time. Keeps files accurate & up-to-date. Establishes good business relations with members & stakeholders. Problems and questions are courteously & promptly resolved &/or referred. Provide professional assistance and support as needed and ensure management is properly informed on any relevant issues. Ensure the loan processing functions are completed in accordance with established policies and procedures. Revise written Procedures or write New Procedures when necessary. Creating reports for the department when necessary. Assist with timecards as a backup to the Director of Consumer Lending. Requirements Qualifications Education: High school graduate or equivalent Experience: 2 years previous financial industry experience 3- 5 years related loan experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Proficiency in closing procedures, loan processing and documentation. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills. Great interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Time management skills. Ability to multitask. Excellent communication skills. Must be able to maintain enthusiasm and professionalism.
