Job description:
In this role, you will manage the loan application process from start to finish, ensuring documents are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards. Collaborate with team members such as loan consultants, underwriters, wholesale partners and dealers, to ensure loan stipulations are received and reviewed for accuracy. Document any exceptions to standard processing procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and review required loan documentation for loan closing
  • Review income verifications and calculate income in accordance with Alliant procedures, including loan contracts, as needed to confirm compliance with Alliant policies
  • Follow title perfection procedures to secure Alliant’s legal interest in the collateral
  • Act as the final processing step for direct channel loans before loan funding, ensuring required documents which are required documents are received, verified and compliant with approved loan terms
  • Clear Fraud or OFAC alerts, resolve credit bureau issues and ensure membership identification validations. Identify potential red flags which may result in a loss to Alliant and escalate for appropriate action
  • Obtain necessary documents to validate identity and clear warnings
  • Ensure timely delivery and follow-up on member correspondence and loan documentation to provide a positive, professional, and expedited member borrowing experience
  • Assist wholesale partners with funding delays and compliance issues and support home equity loan processing tasks such as flood certification, homeowners insurance and property condition reports

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent - Minimum

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years - Direct or indirect consumer loan closing, processing, underwriting or Related - Minimum
