JOB DESCRIPTION

Performs a variety of clerical duties in conjunction with consumer loan servicing. Maintains loan files and records and prepares various reports. Enters customer payments into the computer to ensure proper documentation, regulatory compliance, and company policies. Posts loan or tax payments to accounts. Makes account corrections to personal customer information such as address. Research customer requests such as copies of payments, and correcting entries. Responsible for opening, sorting, scanning and indexing loan/lease documents in compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory guidelines within designated time frames. Ensures compliance with internal policies, regulatory and investor requirements and customer service standards. Job requires the ability to perform work from a sedentary position, stand for extended periods of time, push/lift up to 50 pounds, and repeated bending.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Typically, three to five years of related experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Basic reading, writing, mathematical and calculator skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
