Description
At Lilly, we unite caring with discovery to make life better for people around the world. We are a global healthcare leader headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our employees around the world work to discover and bring life-changing medicines to those who need them, improve the understanding and management of disease, and give back to our communities through philanthropy and volunteerism. We give our best effort to our work, and we put people first. We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world. ABOUT THE ROLE The Campus Intern at Eli Lilly and Company (Taiwan) will contribute to high-impact strategic projects while gaining hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry. This role sits at the intersection of market analysis, business development, and operational excellence — offering a unique opportunity to engage with real business challenges from day one. You will work closely with experienced professionals across functions and be given the opportunity to shape real business outcomes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in cross-functional strategic projects, supporting market trend analysis, business model design, and healthcare innovation initiatives. Explore and analyze partnership opportunities within private insurance and corporate wellness platforms, delivering data-backed insights and recommendations. Support advocacy efforts for corporate wellness incentives and insurance frameworks that enhance adoption of innovative treatments. Independently define problem scopes, plan workstreams, and deliver outputs on time within ambiguous and rapidly evolving conditions. Actively seek feedback, reflect on learning progress, and demonstrate a high degree of self-awareness and growth mindset throughout the internship. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a university in Taiwan. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong interest in the pharmaceutical industry and Eli Lilly's mission. Ability to commit to the full duration of the internship program. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior coursework or experience in business analysis, health economics, public health policy, marketing, or related fields. Hands-on experience through internships, student leadership, research projects, or entrepreneurial initiatives. Familiarity with Taiwan's healthcare system, National Health Insurance framework, or private insurance landscape. Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or business modeling frameworks. COMPETENCIES WE VALUE Navigating Ambiguity — Able to make sound judgments and move work forward even when information is incomplete or direction is unclear, without waiting for all the answers to arrive. Self-Awareness — Demonstrates a clear understanding of personal strengths and blind spots; actively reflects, adjusts, and translates feedback into concrete action. Influence Without Authority — Able to drive alignment and move things forward through clear communication, substantive content, and trust — without relying on formal authority. Planning & Organization — Independently manages multiple concurrent workstreams, prioritizes effectively, and maintains delivery quality in a dynamic environment. Strategic Thinking — Thinks beyond the immediate task to assess broader business logic and long-term implications, bringing structured and substantive analysis to every challenge.
