Purpose of the role:
As a Consumer Planner and Business Intelligence Junior Specialist, will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decisions and strategies for the company. This position combines analytical skills with consumer insights to identify trends, understand market dynamics, and support the development of strategies that align with the company’s goals. You will work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to provide actionable recommendations that enhance brand performance and consumer engagement.
Responsibilities:

Business Intelligence:

• Collect, cleanse, and analyze data from various sources (e.g., Nielsen, internal sales data).
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize and communicate key insights effectively.
• Monitor Diageo’s brand performance and competitive set in the market.
• Identify opportunities for growth.

Consumer Analysis:

• Conduct market studies to understand motivations, and behaviors of Venezuelan consumers of alcoholic beverages.
• Analyze consumer trends and evolving lifestyle changes.

Decision support:

• Provide actionable insights to marketing, sales, and other teams.
• Contribute to the development of data-driven marketing and commercial strategies.
• Participate in strategic planning cycle.
