WHAT YOU BRING

We are looking to engage team members with diverse skills, experiences and interests. These are some of the competencies and credentials we are looking for:

  • Grade 12 diploma with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative, customer service or reception position
  • Ability to handle a busy reception area and registration procedures concurrently
  • Experience providing exceptional customer service and working in a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • Strong understanding of professional email and business communications standards
  • High level of organizational skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to communicate information accurately and clearly
  • Experience in handling cash, inventory, invoicing and purchase orders is an asset
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer software, including the Microsoft Office suite, and understanding of specialized programs such as ActiveNet and Jane is an asset
  • Demonstrate a high standard of professionalism aligned with Vecova values
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all Vecova team members
  • Represent Vecova in a professional manner
  • Demonstrate a high level of initiative and enthusiasm
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Demonstrate a high level of administrative and IT capacity
Responsibilities
  • Act as first point of contact for all consumers and visitors shaping the initial impression of Vecova
  • Greet all visitors with a positive and helpful attitude and direct them as necessary
  • Answer, forward and screen all phone calls in a professional manner
  • Manage and respond to organization emails and queries
  • Manage administrative processes such as room bookings, mail distribution, and file management
  • Utilize Vecova’s Client Management Software for registration of consumers in various Vecova programs
  • Assist with additional administrative tasks as required by the Manager
