Job Title: CTI & Claims Manager – Men’s PC Innovation & Smell Great Consumer Benefit Platform (secondment) Category: Deodorants Reporting to: Lauren Laird WL/Grade: WL2A Length: 6-month secondment (1st March 2026 – 31st August 2026) MAIN JOB PURPOSE The Deodorant category has had many years of growth, based on fabulous innovation and consumer preferred mixes across global power brands: Rexona, Axe, Dove and Dove Men + Care. We are looking for a CTI Manager to lead key activities in the Deodorants category for the Personal Care Men’s Global brands (Dove Men + Care and Axe) and the Smell Great CBP (Consumer Benefit Platform) as a 6-month secondment. The role holder will decode what our male consumers want and translate into actionable technical standards that our Axe, Dove Men+Care, and Smell Great CBP R&D teams can deliver against across our key design cells of the UK, Mexico, and Brazil. They will be responsible for leading claims development and substantiation and maximising our technology impact through compelling storytelling and activation. They will also be responsible for bringing new insight to support the growth of Men’s innovation in Personal Care and the future of odour control. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES Lead the planning and execution of the technical claims programme for a portfolio of global Mens projects using a range of tools to maximise the product story, to bring innovation to life for consumers, creating the maximum amount of news, and impact, from our science and innovation. Delivery of claims substantiation and defence strategies, delivering outstanding communications for our innovations that are robustly supported with technical and consumer evidence – with full alignment of critical business partners (eg marketing, legal, regulatory). Ensure our products, technologies and claims are designed for men and desirable to our consumers and shoppers. Oversee all consumer insight and testing needs for innovation projects. This will involve designing Consumer Insight plans, validating consumer perceivable differences in new technologies and developing new research methodologies to unlock insights across product formats and benefits. Support competitor challenge activities by providing guidance, leadership and technical data. Lead the development of Deo category consumer insights to inform the Smell Great CBP. Identify male relevant consumer insights to inform the Skin Care, Look & Feel CBP programme and the Dove Men +Care future roadmaps. Be a leader within the Claims & CTI community of practise to drive best practice and knowledge sharing and enhance the skills & talent development of your Claims & CTI Team. Requirements: At least five years of experience in R&D, with extensive knowledge of category fundamentals. Strong understanding of sensory/clinical/consumer research, and the fundamental requirements for claims substantiation in FMCG. A consumer first mindset, a track record of bringing insight to the heart of brands & innovations, to help teams craft compelling mixes. A creative thinker, with the ability to inspire ideas from insights and spot opportunities for superior claims to out do our competition. Ability to form excellent partnerships with internal (eg marketing, legal) & external partners (eg agencies).
