Training will last 8 weeks, and mileage is reimbursed for staff that live more than 20 miles from the training site. Job Description: Urology Clinics of North Texas is seeking a dedicated and motivated Contact Center Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring smooth scheduling, and supporting the needs of our clinical staff and physicians. Key Responsibilities: Schedule a high volume of patient appointments efficiently, in a friendly and professional manner. Provide outstanding customer service to patients, co-workers, and physicians, ensuring every interaction is respectful and positive. Accurately schedule new and established patient appointments using the office's electronic system, adhering to physician guidelines and templates. Reschedule or cancel appointments as needed based on physician schedule changes, notifying the appropriate clinic personnel and documenting changes in the E.H.R. system. Verify and update patient demographic information, including insurance details, in the E.H.R. system. Review patient medical charts to ensure appointments are scheduled according to the physician's guidelines. Follow up with patients who missed appointments in the previous week to reschedule and update charts accordingly. Adapt to frequent changes in daily schedules and manage them efficiently. Assist with special projects assigned by the Administrator or management team. Perform any other related tasks or duties as necessary. Qualifications Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Proficient typing skills. Excellent grammar, spelling, and written communication abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of patients and staff. Ability to handle a high volume of work and prioritize tasks effectively. Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of the role.
Responsibilities
